Recently, I had the chance to join Sherene and her family for the birth of baby Jeremiah. For me, it was an incredible experience. I can't say enough about how strong Mama was through the whole process - it was a tough labour, but she was a total champ. Delivering a child is a truly human experience - but it is also an intimate experience. It is such a privilege to be included in what is one of the most important moments of a client's life.

I am forever grateful to this sweet little family for allowing me to spend this time with them.

I am also, as always, continually amazed by the labour and delivery team at LHSC Victoria Campus. Their ability to safely guide mothers and babies through birth is incredible. Their knowledge, understanding, compassion, and dedication still impress me to this day.
